AS Plumbing and Gas have been incredibly busy this week after the long bank holiday weekend dealing with every type of plumbing and heating problem which have arisen and are causing issues for our customers.
We have received many calls regarding boiler breakdowns. One customer in Beckenham required a new gas valve for their Worcester Bosch Greenstar condensing combination boiler which was supplied and fitted by our engineer Al. The customer was very happy to have his combination boiler back up and running in no time. Another customer in Greenwich had an issue with their Potterton system boilers pressure which kept dropping to 0 bar over time, we will be returning to add some sealant chemical to the system, which hopefully will stop this issue from reoccurring.
As well as the boiler issues, we have also had many calls regarding plumbing problems. Another Beckenham customer called out out for a toilet which was continuously filling, we fitted a new inlet valve and now our customer is happy to be back to normal. Locally, in Lee we changed a set of bathroom taps which were leaking and we also changed a bath panel whilst we were there.
We have also been travelling all over South East London servicing boilers and issuing gas safety certificates for private landlords. To find out why these are so important to have done annually, click here to have a read.
